We drove up to Bellingham this past sunday to visit our close friends, the Rudolphs. Dustin & Susan prepared some delicious chicken shish kebobs, green salad (from home-grown lettuce), dinner rolls made from scratch, lemonade, and potato-onion salad. The weather was great, and so we had dinner on their huge, newly-painted deck. It was fun to see their assortment of farm critters that include: goats, chickens, ducks, bees and a squealing mole that Dustin launched in the neighboring woods.
Makaio had a fun time playing with Elias and Jillian. We left them to play in Jillian's room and found that he took down the wall-mounted xylophone, which they banged away at while bouncing on the bed.
Lisa enjoyed holding little Georgia Sol, who was in Lisa's arms most of the time we were there.
