This was the first day that it actually rained while we were in Maui. And it was the day we decided to drive to Hana. Thankfully the rain only lasted in the morning. Becky, the Rudolphs, my grandma, Makaio, my parents and I all got to swim in the freshwater caves, eat "the world's best banana bread", picnic at Wai'anapanapa State Park, visit the now dry seven sacred pools, and make it all the way around Haleakala.
